Supply allocation FAQ

What is supply allocation?

Supply allocation puts you in control of which suppliers are permitted to provide respondents for your target group. From here, you can manage your settings, save and edit allocations as templates, and access and edit default templates created by Cint

What are supply groups?

Supply groups let you organize your suppliers in a way that works best for you. They work by adding suppliers to a specific ‘bucket’ or ‘group’ to help you manage suppliers with ease.

How can I add suppliers to a group?

See add suppliers section of the create a target group article.

How can I remove suppliers from a group?

Simply assign suppliers to the ‘Default’ group.

How can I block suppliers from my target group?

See block suppliers section of the create a target group article.

What are minimum and maximum supply group settings?

The number of suppliers belong to that group displays next to the group name, as well as the minimum and maximum percentage of the supply pool that they can provide for this target group.

If all supply groups are set as minimum 0% and maximum 100%, any one of the groups can provide all participants for this target group or none at all. By amending this setting you can ‘reserve’ a certain volume of respondents for that supply group. This allows you to control the volume of respondents each supply group is permitted to provide.

More info: See the configuring supply allocation percentages section of the create a target group article.

How can I adjust the minimum and maximum settings?

Use the sliding scale to amend the default settings. If your change has made your target group unfeasible, an error message will be shown and suggest how to amend your settings to make the group feasible.

NOTE: The sum of the minimum percentages cannot exceed 100%.
