Billing and financial reporting FAQs

This article addresses frequently asked questions about Cint’s billing process and the financial reporting available to Cint Exchange (formerly known as Lucid Marketplace) partners.

This article has been updated to reflect our latest pricing model, replacing cost per interview (CPI) with revenue per interview (RPI) metrics. We will be working closely with our supply partners to transition them to the RPI model. If you have not yet migrated to RPI and require access to documentation containing CPI details, please contact your account team, who can provide the relevant materials.

How do I tie payments to survey numbers?

The sample sold report lists your net Marketplace Sample Sold amount in the Summary table.

Exporting the sample sold details generates an Excel file that lists the revenue associated with each complete at the PID (respondent) level, and shows which survey number each revenue amount is associated with.

In the generated spreadsheet, you will find that all buyer accounts are listed. All payments for OTC completes will be included proactively in your monthly payment from Cint. All suppliers are paid out for OTC completes on net-90 payment terms. Any questions or concerns regarding OTC completes or invoicing should be directed to ask_accountspayable@cint.com.

Where do I get more information about my OTC commissions?

The commissions line item on the sample sold report includes all Cint Exchange and OTC commissions.

Only if a supplier participates in OTC transactions would it be commissioned for them, in accordance with its supplier agreement.

How do I tie reconciliation activity per user to my monthly payout?

Monthly payouts are finalized at the end of each month, meaning the amount you see in your Marketplace sample sold report will not change after the first day of the following month in question. For example, on April 1st, you can check the Marketplace sample sold report to understand what will be reflected in your March payment. However, the reconciliation window for a given month’s completes or terms is open until the last day of the month following the complete; so any complete that takes place in March is subject to reconciliation policy until the last day of April.

In order to understand the implications of reconciliations, you’ll want to download the following report:

Fulcrum → reports → monitor sample → ID reconciliation report . Column “C” will include the PID for the reconciled sessions with the “sample sold details” report (reports → monitor sample → Marketplace Sample Sold → export sample sold details).

How can I tie audience activity to my payouts?

Cint Exchange suppliers will receive a monthly Audience Statement from the Cint Accounting Team detailing your Audience activity and payment. This statement is sent to suppliers at the beginning of the month (typically by the end of the first full week) and reflects the activity of the most recent hard-closed month. The amount to be paid out for Audience activity will not appear in any other Cint financial reporting; however, you can use the supplier breakdown report to break out earnings by user PID. The final amount will be included in your monthly payments.

Will I receive any written confirmation for payments deposited?

When payments are issued, you will receive a remittance email that confirms the following:

  1. The total $ amount of Cint Exchange and OTC net sample sold that was deposited into your bank account

  2. Your total $ amount sold this month for Audience activity that was deposited into your bank account.

The combined revenue numbers (Cint Exchange + OTC + Audience) are deposited as a single payment into your bank account.
