What is a target group soft launch?
Soft launch enables you to conduct a small-scale, preliminary target group launch to test and validate its performance before launching your target group in the Cint Exchange at full scale.
Target group soft launch will enable you to collect key performance metrics that can help you identify and resolve any potential issues with your survey and target group set-up, and ensure you can collect the completes you need on time and within budget.
How can I soft-launch a target group?
Soft launch enables you to conduct a small-scale, preliminary target group launch to test and validate its performance before launching your target group in the Cint Exchange at full scale.
Target group soft launch will enable you to collect key performance metrics that can help you identify and resolve any potential issues with your survey and target group set-up, and ensure you can collect the completes you need on time and within budget.
To soft launch a target group.
Populate all the required information for your target group and then click Launch to bring up the launch modal.
Enable Soft launch.
You can also soft launch target groups scheduled for later.
Populate your testing parameters:
Completes: Set the target number of completes for the test, either as a percentage or a percentage of total completes. For example, for a target group of 100 completes, 10% would mean soft launch for 10 completes.
Duration: Define the end date and time for the soft launch period.
Quota Strictness: Choose how strictly the test should adhere to the main survey's demographic quota distribution (defaults to100%).
Click Launch now to begin your target group soft launch.
Once the soft launch is complete, you’ll need to manually re-launch the target group to collect the required completes.

Can I conduct a soft launch if my target group is scheduled for later?
Yes, in the Schedule for later tab of the launch modal, you can configure the soft launch parameters of your target group.
Once ready, click Schedule and re-launch your target group once soft launch is complete.
How can I track the progress of the target group soft launch?
In the manage workflow of your target group, a banner will be displayed showing the status of your soft launch and when it will be complete.
Once your soft launch is complete, an alternative banner will be displayed, reminding you to re-launch your target group to fulfill your completes goal.
How can I stop the target group soft launch while it’s fielding?
In the manage workflow of your target group, click Automate fielding to display all automation features, including soft launch.
Here, you can stop your soft launch by stopping all target group automation and clicking Save in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
