The following FAQs regarding the partner improvement conversion initiative are covered in this article:
Partner conversion improvement
What is partner conversion improvement?
The partner conversion improvement initiative ensures that Cint Exchange (formerly known as Marketplace) supply partners meet the minimum standards for integration health, as measured by conversion rates. Cint proactively monitors data trends to identify any supply partners with conversion rates significantly lower than the platform's average. This program alerts our supply partners to their underperformance and provides them with resources to improve, helping them remain members in good standing and increase their supply potential.
What criteria is measured?
There are minimum performance metrics that supply partners must adhere to for conversion. Currently, this initiative analyzes US* conversion rates on an integration level for all supply partners.
Conversion: is the number of respondents that completed the survey, divided by the number of respondents that qualified for the survey (made it to the client-side survey), from any device.
Completes / Entrants
Partners who do not meet our standards within the specified timeframe must discontinue sending traffic into that country on the Cint Exchange until they take appropriate steps to improve their conversion rate.
Why does Cint require a minimum standard conversion rate?
Supply partners benefit from maintaining high conversion rates, as higher-converting surveys yield more completes and greater revenue. Sending respondents into studies they best qualify for also leads to a better respondent experience, increasing the likelihood of respondent retention.
When the right respondents are sent to surveys, they fill out faster, leading to a more seamless experience for buyers. Please note that Cint maintains minimum survey conversion rates for buyers as well, to ensure that once a correctly qualified respondent enters the client survey they are given a fair chance to complete. By ensuring our supply partners are sending the correct respondents to surveys, and that our buyers setup surveys correctly and price them competitively, we create a more seamless ecosystem experience for all.
What conversion rates are part of partner conversion improvement monitoring?
Cint supply partners will have their conversion rates placed on an improvement program when their Cint Exchange integrations fall below the minimum standards. If this happens, the supply partner will be notified via email, and their account team will work with them on diagnosing conversion issues and implement a plan to improve metrics. Supply partners have 60 days to bring their conversion to at least the platform minimum. If not met, traffic must be discontinued for that country until appropriate steps are taken to meet the minimum conversion rate.
How can a supply partner improve their conversion?
Impacted supply partners should work closely with their account team to review potential performance issues and adjust their integration as needed to improve their conversion performance metrics. Necessary adjustments may include steps outlined in:
At the end of the 60-day improvement period, if the supply partner has improved their conversion to the required threshold, they will be allowed to continue sending traffic on the Cint Exchange – provided they maintain the higher conversion performance.
What happens if my conversion rate doesn’t improve?
If the supply partner is unable to improve their conversion performance metric, their Cint Exchange traffic will be paused in each affected country until integration updates are made and the conversion minimums are met. See special considerations for supply partners required to pause traffic.
What should I do if I am impacted?
Confirmation: Confirm receipt of email with a reply to trustandsafety@cint.com within 3 business days.
Next steps: Your account team will work with you to identify any further opportunities for optimizing your integration and improving your conversion rate within the specified timeframe.
Special Considerations for Supply Partners Required to Pause Traffic
Tracker studies: Supply partners who support tracker studies may continue to send respondents to those surveys.
Recontact studies: Supply partners who support recontact studies may continue to send respondents to those surveys.
Third party partnerships: Supply partners that source or send traffic via third party partnerships or integrations are responsible for coordinating needed improvements with their partners.
Please note, Cint reserves the right to require the termination of traffic sources into the Cint Exchange at any time.
