Integration
Is there a sandbox environment available?
No, we currently do not offer a sandbox environment. Suppliers can test the user experience via the test URL automatically generated when creating a link for a survey. For more information on how to test your integration, please visit the testing and launch section of the integration guide.
How do I submit my redirects?
Redirects are submitted via this form in the Supplier Portal: https://partners.lucidhq.com/s/supplier-redirects
Please contact your Account Team if you do not have access to the Supplier Portal.
How do I update redirects?
To update your redirects there may be several changes required:
Cint will need to update the default redirects stored in our system. Please inform your CSM of the required changes.
Changing the default redirects will not update any survey redirects that have been set prior to the change. The Update Links call will need to be made for any survey where the redirects have already been set via the Create Links call.
Amend any custom redirects you are specifying within the payload of the Create Links call for a survey
Where can I find a list of Cint Exchange (prescreener) and Client (survey) response codes and reasons?
Please reference Marketplace Response Codes and Client Response Codes.
How can I pass a unique user ID on the entry link?
You will want to pass in a unique user ID using the PID variable.
What data can be returned on redirects?
Session and profiling data collected in the Cint Exchange can be passed back on redirect links. Please refer to our Collecting Data From Redirects article for information on what data can be passed back and how it should be formatted.
How can I control sending respondents to panel recruit and community build study types?
Panel Recruits and Community Builds are excellent revenue opportunities, however, they collect PII in the survey and different business rules may or may not allow for this. These studies can be identified from the property study_type, returned on calls Feed Opportunities model. Decisioning logic should be added to either look for or avoid studies with the following study_type:
11 - Recruit - panel
8 - Community Build
When creating entry links we recommend using a PIXEL or S2S supplier postback as the TrackingTypeCode for Recruit – Panel or Community Build study types since the respondent often remains in the community or panel.
How do I identify that I've been given a reserved allocation from a buyer?
If you are granted a reserved allocation by a buyer, meaning you are the only supplier able to access these completes, you'll be able to identify these surveys via the below steps.
If property "is_only_supplier_in_group" equals true for the survey in the Feed Opportunities model message, the buyer has given you a reserved allocation.
Property "total_remaining" will provide an overall volume of completes available, with the quota model - when opting in to receive quota data via Feed Opportunities - providing a breakdown of any sub quotas set by the buyer.
If you attempt to create a link for the survey but receive a 404 error status this can suggest the buyer has already created the entry link for you. The show a link call will provide the entry link information.
Geographic expansion - what markets should I expand into?
Cint has inventory in over 90 countries around the world. Our top markets are the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Canada, Australia, India, China, Brazil, Japan and Mexico. If you are considering expanding into a new market or region please reach out to your CSM for more information.
The article Client Terminations FAQs provides in-depth recommendations on reducing prescreener terminations, which can help increase your survey entry rate.
How can I improve my in-survey performance?
The article Yield Management best practices guide offers best practices for selecting and ranking viable survey opportunities to enhance in-survey performance. Additionally, the article Client Terminations FAQs provides recommendations on handling and reducing specific client-side terminations.
Can respondents take multiple surveys concurrently?
Please refer to our Respondent experience changes: What supplier partners can expect under section “Concurrent Sessions” for the answer.
Profiling/Mapping
How should I handle dummy qualifications?
Please reference our dummy qualification section in our Profiling Guide for the details on how to handle these qualifications.
Why should I pass in panelist profile data on the entry link, and how do I do this?
To improve the user experience you should pass in respondent profiling data on the entry link. This will bypass any qualifications in the prescreener where the corresponding values are appended to entry links.
To understand how you should format the entry link with profiled data, please reference our Generating API Entry Links.
Where can I find a list of the Standard Qualifications, and which are the important qualifications I need to profile on?
Information on our Standard Qualifications can be retrieved via the Questions Library API endpoints. Alternatively, you can download our Standard Qualifications file for all countries.
Additionally, we offer a Standard Qualification Tier file that categorizes qualifications by importance (critical, primary, and secondary) for each country. At launch, mapping and profiling on critical qualifications is required, while profiling onprimary qualifications is also recommended.
Why is the QuestionID I see in a survey not returning on the List Standard Questions call?
The List Standard Questions call only returns a list of Standard Qualifications. These are qualifications that are created and maintained by Cint. If a question for a particular qualification is not returned on that call, it can be assumed that the qualification is a Custom Qualification that is created by a Buyer. Buyers have the option to set custom qualifications to “exposed” or “not exposed.” If a custom qualification is set to “exposed,” the question text can be retrieved from Show Question Text, and any question options can be retrieved from Show Question Options.
Survey Monitoring
What is the difference between conversion, mobile_conversion and SystemConversion(Trailing and Global)?
conversion
Calculation: Number of respondents that completed the survey, divided by the number of respondents that qualified for the survey (made it to the client side survey), from any device.
The data is based on global performance and is returned on Feed Opportunities
mobile_conversion
Calculation: Number of respondents that completed the survey, divided by the number of respondents that qualified for the survey (made it to the client side survey), from a mobile device.
The data is based on global performance and is returned on Feed Opportunities
SystemConversion
Calculation: Number of respondents that completed the survey, divided by the number of respondents that entered the Cint Exchange, from any device.
These statistics can be retrieved either by supplier or globally, with options for a 12-hour trailing period or the entire survey duration using the GET Show Statistics endpoint.
The data is returned on the statistic endpoints
If a Buyer is looking specifically for respondents using a mobile device (phone or tablet), the survey will include the qualification ms_is_mobile set to true. Otherwise, you can monitor conversion for mobile respondents on a survey. Property mobile_conversion available via Feed Opportunities enables you to identify surveys that are performing well for mobile users.
How do I know when a survey is no longer live?
There are two ways to identify if a survey is inactive.
Feed Opportunities property message_reason returns deactivated.
Feed Opportunities property is_live property returns false.
When a survey is no longer live stop sending respondents and mark the surveyID as "inactive" within your database. Some surveys can reactivate: if you pick a surveyID previously marked as "inactive" in your system, reactivate the survey if it meets your desired performance thresholds.
When is the length_of_interview (LOI) property calculated?
The LOI is calculated after six survey completions, using the median completion time (in minutes) per respondent, excluding the prescreener. In the meantime, you can use the bid_length_of_interview property as an estimate for survey length until the LOI is populated.
Reconciliations & Quality
What is a reconciliation?
Cint offers a Reconciliation process that allows buyers to remove completes that do not meet the necessary quality standards. Respondents can be reconciled from Term to Complete (positive reconciliation) or Complete to Term (negative reconciliation).
More Info: More information on our reconciliation process can be found here.
What is the Partner Improvement Program (PIP)?

How should I collect and handle reconciliation data?
Please review our reconciliation tracking article in the Supplier Portal to understand the ways you can collect this data, and how you should treat these respondents in your platform. Please contact your Account Team if you need to be granted access to the Supplier Portal.
What quality measures are required to launch the Feed Integration?
At a minimum, suppliers must implement the measures outlined in our Respondent Quality Standards article, available in the Supplier Portal.
What are the different quality terminations in the Cint Exchange, and how should I collect and handle these?
Supplier Portal article Cint's Security and Quality Measures outlines the different quality terminations and how you can avoid, collect and handle these outcomes in your platform.
What Security and Quality Measures do you recommend?
Our best practices for ensuring high-quality respondents are outlined in the Partner and Security Guide article, available in the Supplier Portal.
Measurement
What is Measurement?
Measurement (formerly known as Audience) is Lucid's ad-effectiveness product. We will intercept the user flow to show them a short survey if we detect the presence of a specific cookie, MAID or hashed email. After completing the survey, the user will be redirected to the original intended survey to continue the user experience. An example of the respondent flow can be found in our Working with Lucid Measurement.
Media Measurement survey opportunity data are not exposed on any API's.
How do I get paid for Media Measurement?
You will receive a monthly Media Measurement Statement from the Cint Accounting Team detailing Media Measurement activity and payment. This statement is sent to suppliers at the beginning of the month (typically by the end of the first full week of the month) and reflects the activity of the most recent hard-closed month. The amount to be paid out for Media Measurement activity will not appear in any other Cint financial reporting. However, you can use the Supplier Breakdown report to identify activity by PID. The final amount will be included in your net-90 payments.
How can I track Media Measurement activity?
Please see reference Working with Lucid Measurement for more information.
Do all users intercepted qualify to take the Media Measurement survey?
No. Similar to standard surveys, Media Measurement opportunities include qualification criteria. If users does not meet the criteria set, they are disqualified and immediately routed to the originally intended survey, bypassing the opt-in screen for Media Measurement participation. Respondents that do not qualify for the survey will be returned with a ProofStatus of '-1'.
Finance/Payment
When and how are we getting paid? Where do we send the invoice?
Cint proactively pays Suppliers for all completes sold in the Cint Exchange, including OTC completes. As a result, Suppliers do not need to invoice Cint to receive payments. Cint pays Suppliers on a monthly basis per contract terms, and payments are made in US Dollars (USD).
More Info: More details are available in the Payment Process for Cint Exchange Suppliers
How much are we being paid this month?
You can login to the Cint Marketplace to review the Sample Sold Report, where you can select to receive a detailed (session level) or summary (aggerated totals) report. Please note that the monthly payment amount is not finalized until the month-end reconciliation adjustments are completed.
More Info: More details with instructions to view the report can be found in the Sample Sold Report.
Where is my payment for OTC projects?
Any revenue from OTC activity will be included in your monthly Cint payment, consolidated with your revenue from Cint Exchange (Marketplace) activity.
More Info: Please refer to this article for more information: Sample Sold Report.
How do I update my payment details?
Please contact ask_accountspayable@cint.com and your CSM to update it accordingly.
