Customer reference number FAQ

A target group customer reference number is an internal identifier assigned to the work you run in the Cint Exchange.

This number makes it easier to search and identify specific target groups, improves productivity and accuracy when searching for target groups, and allows for a closer integration between your internal systems and the Cint Exchange.

You can add a customer reference number in the finalize tab of your target group.

The reference number must be at least 3 characters long and a maximum of 128 characters. Permitted characters include letters in the English alphabet, numbers, spaces, underscores, and hyphens.

Yes, you can view the target group and project customer reference number in the Sample Bought report.

To generate a report:

1. Navigate to the reports tab using the left-hand side navigation menu.

2. Click generate report.

3. Choose sample bought from the report type dropdown menu.

When creating a new project, alongside key project information, an additional field is available where you can add a project customer reference number.

Yes, you can edit the reference on the Manage page of your project. Once edited, save your changes.

Currently, this functionality is not available. Once added, a project reference number cannot be removed. We will enhance this functionality in the future.
