The following contains information on how to configure a study to use a webcam in Marketplace.
Webcam data is biometric data, and all studies that ask for a webcam to be activated must be marked as personally identifiable information (PII).
PII is any kind of information that can be used to identify an individual. This includes email addresses, phone numbers, employee identification numbers, government-issued identification numbers, financial information, biometric data, or any other information that could be used to trace back to an individual.
The following must be configured for a study/survey to use a webcam:
Navigate to the details tab within a survey.
Scroll down to the setup requirements section. Mark the PII to yes.
Select save.
The survey must include the standard_webcam standard qualification to inform the respondent (about the use of a webcam).
Ask your CSM for more tips that may impact your specific survey setup!
