General Overview
What is the Approve Completes Reconciliation feature?
This feature introduces an alternative reconciliation workflow designed specifically for buyers. Instead of manually providing rejection codes for every invalid entry, you can now upload a bulk list of "good" Response Identifiers (RIDs) that you intend to approve and pay for. The system automatically marks these uploaded RIDs as "complete."
The system will not change any statuses of any RIDs that are not included in the file. If you need to reject any completes, you will need to submit a reconciliation.
What are the benefits of approving high-quality RIDs during reconciliation?
Approving high-quality RIDs makes the reconciliation of survey completes simpler and faster, resulting in more efficient overall project management.
How to use approve completes
Where do I find approve completes in the dashboard?
Navigate to reconciliations in the left-hand menu.
Select submit reconciliation.

The upload file dialog displays.

Select Approve RIDs

See Submit a reconciliation for information on Reject RIDs.
Can I upload RIDs across multiple projects at the same time?
No. The Approved RID flow works for one project at a time. You must select a specific project from the dropdown before uploading your file, as the system needs this to accurately extract target groups and map remaining data.
What are the file formatting requirements and limitations?
File Type: The file must be in .csv or .txt format. The system will block any other file formats.
Content: The file should contain only a list of RIDs. No reason codes are required.
Volume Limit: A maximum of 100,000 RIDs can be processed in a single file upload.
How do I know if my uploaded file contains errors?
After uploading your file, click the Validate button.
The UI immediately checks the file formatting, while the backend verifies that the RIDs belong to the selected project. If any records are invalid, a total error count will display, and you will be prompted to download an error report.
If a file fails validation, you cannot edit it inline or step backward; you must correct the file locally and restart the upload process from the beginning.
Dashboard Statuses & Reports
How can I distinguish between an Approval request and a Rejection request in my dashboard?
Once a request is submitted, it will appear on your reconciliation dashboard with a specific identifying tag next to the file name indicating whether it was an Approved RIDs or Rejected RIDs request.

What is the Download Remaining Completes report?
After you submit your approved RIDs, the system isolates all other RIDs that are registered as "complete" in our system and still within the reconciliation window, but were not included in your uploaded file.
This report is generated to alert you to those additional completes so you can decide if they need to be rejected or if they should proceed to invoicing.
What data is included in the Remaining Completes report?
The downloadable file includes:
Project ID & Project Name
Target Group ID & Target Group Name
Target Group HRID (Human-Readable ID used for quick searches within the Exchange UI)
The remaining unselected RIDs
Troubleshooting & Technical FAQs
Why is the "Download Remaining RIDs" option disabled in the 3-dot menu?
This option is context-aware and will only become enabled once the reconciliation request status changes to "Complete."
Why doesn't the remaining RID file download immediately when I click it?
The report compiles all eligible completes for the entire selected project. Because the volume of data can be massive, the system pulls this information from a data source that experiences background latency. It typically takes 10 to 15 minutes (and up to 20 minutes for very large data sets) for the report to generate. If it isn't ready, you will see a message prompting you to try again shortly.
Why am I missing some completes in my "Remaining RID" file?
The report strictly limits its results to completes that are still within their eligible reconciliation window. If a complete is missing from the file, it has likely crossed over the reconciliation window threshold and is no longer eligible for adjustment.
If I spot an item in the "Remaining RIDs" report that I want to reject, can I do it here
No. Because exchange policies mandate specific reason codes to officially reject ("term") an item, the approve completes flow cannot process rejections.
Any remaining items that you wish to reject must be compiled and submitted through the standard Reject RIDs tab.
