In order to set a reserved allocation, the supplier(s) must be in a group. To create a supplier group:

  2. Click create group.

See Creating supplier groups for more information on creating supplier groups.

  3. Once the supplier is in the group, select reserved allocation percentage for the supplier(s) within the group. The reserved allocation is the guaranteed minimum number of completes that the supplier(s) in the group will receive. In the example below, the supplier(s) in the group will receive 20% of the completes for the project.
For example, if the total quota for the study was 330, the supplier(s) in the group will receive 66 completes.

The completes are not evenly distributed among the supplier(s) but are rather reserved for the group as a whole.

  4. To edit a reserved allocation, click the edit button for the group.

  5. Click save.

Setting maximum completes

The set max completes functionality allows users to set the maximum number of completes that supplier(s) within the group will receive. In the example below, the supplier(s) in the group will receive a maximum of 40% of completes for the study. For example, if the total quota was 330, the maximum number of completes that supplier(s) within the group will receive would be 132. With the setup below, supplier(s) in the group will receive anywhere from 20%-40% of the total number of completes for the project.

The completes are not evenly distributed among the supplier(s) but are rather reserved for the group as a whole.

To edit the maximum number of completes:

  1. Click the edit button for the group.

  2. Click the box next to set max completes.
