What is Cint MCP?
Cint MCP is Cint's AI connector, built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It lets you connect your AI assistant directly to Cint. This will allow you to set up target groups, check study status, or pull results just by asking, without logging into the platform or building a custom integration.
The clearest analogy would be a USB-C, but for AI.
Before USB-C, every device had its own proprietary cable, and you needed a drawer full of adapters to make anything work together. MCP solves that same problem for AI. Rather than building a custom integration for every AI tool a platform wants to support, MCP gives everyone a shared interface to build against. Cint MCP is Cint's implementation of that standard.
How does Cint MCP change how I work with Cint?
Right now, you probably work with Cint in one of two ways:
Logging into the platform: No setup required, but every action takes manual time and clicks.
Building an API integration: Powerful and automated, but it takes real engineering investment to build and maintain.
Cint MCP offers a middle ground. You get the speed and automation of an integration, but without writing code or waiting on engineering resources. You simply tell your AI assistant what you need in plain language, and Cint MCP handles the rest.
What can I do with Cint from my AI assistant?
Once connected, your AI assistant can act on Cint data and workflows directly. You can ask it to help with things like:
Setting up a target group or study using your criteria
Checking feasibility or reach before you launch
Optimizing or adjusting a study while it's in the field
Pulling reporting or analysis once data comes in
Instead of clicking through several screens, you describe the outcome you want, and the assistant handles the mechanics—asking follow-up questions where needed before taking action.
Every action goes through Cint MPC to Cint’s real platform capabilities in real time, not from memory, so the actions it takes and the data it returns match what you'd get through the UI or API.
What are the benefits to using Cint MCP?
Faster access to insights: There is less time spent on manual setup, more time on analysis
No engineering required: Cint MCP gives you integration-level automation without building or maintaining an API connection
Fits into how you already work: Work happens inside the AI assistant your team already uses daily, rather than requiring a separate platform login.
Where Cint MCP fits alongside what you already use
You currently work with Cint through one of two paths, the UI or API.
The UI is easy to start with but demands manual effort for every task.
API integration automates that effort but requires engineering time to build and maintain.
MCP is positioned between the two. You get integration-level automation, driven through natural language, without writing or maintaining code.
