The Data Analysis report includes study-specific data on entrants, including Response ID (RID), Panelist ID (PID), Supplier Name, Entry and Exit Time, and Lucid Marketplace/Client Side Status. The Data Analysis report provides an overview of entrants and is especially helpful in troubleshooting study-specific issues.

The Term Details report gives an overview of where respondents terminated in the Marketplace, including the specific qualification. This report is most commonly used when troubleshooting terminates, as well as, checking important metrics such as incidence rate, conversion rate, and dropout rate. The report also shows the number of respondents terminated for security reasons. For a more in-depth analysis of security terms, pull the Data Analysis Report to analyze both Marketplace Response Codes and Client Response Codes .

To download the Data Analysis and/or Term Details Report:

Open the desired survey.
Select the Reports tab.
Select Get Report.
Select Data Analysis and/or the Term Details report. Selecting both will export the report separately. It will not combine them.

Include Respondent Answers - This checkbox displays when the Data Analysis report is selected. If selected, the Data Analysis report will include the respondent answers given on a specific survey to any qualification in the Marketplace. Also, the qualification for the last answer recorded, represents the last qualification the respondent answered before going to the client study, screening out, or terminating for an overquota.

Link Type drop down - This drop down displays when the Term Details report is selected. From here, chose the link type to include in the exported report.

Select Export to download the document.

Data Analysis Report Columns

The following are important columns of note in the Data Analysis report:

Response ID (called RID) – unique ID per study per respondent. This is a one-time alpha-numeric ID assigned to a respondent upon entering the study.
PID – Unique ID per respondent per supplier. This is a permanent ID the supplier assigns to the respondent.
Supplier Name – The supplier who sent that individual respondent.
IsLive – Indicates if the study was live when the respondent came through. When testing a study, the status will be false.
EntryDate – Date and time that the respondent entered the study.
LastDate – Date and time that the respondent left the study.
Response Status Code – Defines what happened to the respondent in Fulcrum. Reference Marketplace Response Codes for definitions.
Client Response Code – Defines what happened to the respondent on the client side. Reference Client Response Codes for definitions.
Response Status – Brief explanation of what happened to the respondent.

If respondent answers are included, the specific answers to qualifications are listed in precodes. The number in the parenthesis following the qualification name displays the order in which the respondent answered the qualification.

The report displays answer precodes.

For custom qualifications, the precodes are listed under the qualification name in the qualification library. The easiest way to translate all of the precodes at once is to perform a VLOOKUP function in Excel.

Building a Pivot Table

The easiest way to digest the information is to build a pivot table. To create a pivot table, follow the steps below.

Click the cell between Column A and Row 1 to select the entire document.
Navigate to the Insert tab.
Click Pivot Table.

Navigate to the PivotTable Fields section on the right side of the sheet.
Drag ResponseID to values. This action will count the number of ResponseIDs, which will count the number of study entrants. Note: every study entrant is assigned a unique ResponseID.
Drag Client MarketplaceStatus to the Columns section.
Drag ClientStatus to Rows.
Drag IsLive to Filter. Include any other necessary filters. For example, filter based on SupplierName or entry/exit date. Filter "IsLive" for "true" to remove test data from the data set.
Use the Fulcrum response codes and Client response codes to analyze study entrants.

Calculating Length of Interview (LOI)

Length of Interview (LOI) is commonly used to identify speeders. The Data Analysis report provides the entry and exit time for each respondent which can be used to calculate the length of interview for each respondent.

Pull the Data Analysis report. Insert a column after Column L (LastDate).
Insert the following formula “=Lastdate-EntryDate”.
Change the format by clicking the arrow next to Number at the top of the page.
Select Time and select 37:30:55. Fill the formula into all cells to calculate the LOI for all respondents.

NOTE: Survey level reports are archived after three months. You can request an archived report by emailing support@luc.id. Requests typically take 48-72 hours to process.

Terms Details Report Columns

The following are important columns of note in the Terms Details report:

Marketplace Terms on Qualifications Included in Incidence - Number of terminates for the non-targetable qualifications, mostly custom qualifications. These qualifications will affect your incidence rate.
Marketplace Terms on Qualifications Not Include in Incidence - Number of terminates for the targetable qualifications, mostly standard qualifications. These qualifications will not affect your incidence rate.
Quota Level Terms - Number of terminates who terminated for an over-quota on the client-side. Marketplace tip - if you have a high number of over quotas on the client-side for a standard qualification, build the quota into the Marketplace.
