Cint Engage is a powerful platform designed to help you create, manage, and scale multiple independent research panels within your company. Whether you are looking to build a local community or a global network of respondents, Engage provides the tools to recruit panelists who provide vital insights for buyers in the Cint Marketplace.
This article provides an overview of the Engage main page and guides you through the process of setting up your very first panel.
Understanding the Main Page Layout
When you first log into Engage, you are greeted by the Panels dashboard. This is your central hub for overseeing your panel ecosystem.

Company Selection: At the top left, you can see the current company view (e.g., "Cint Internal Test"). While a Cint Admin can access all companies, external panel owners will only see their specific company.
Search & Export: Use the search bar to quickly find panels by name or use the "Export Panel Data" button to download your information for offline analysis.
Panel Table: This area displays all panels currently associated with your company, showing the Panel Name, the Company it belongs to, and its current Status (such as "Live" or "Maintenance").
Navigation Sidebar: The left-hand menu provides quick access to other essential tools including Panel Management, Rewards, Trust & Safety, and Analytics.
How to Create a New Panel
Creating a new panel is a straightforward process designed to give you maximum flexibility over how your brand is presented to different audiences.
1. Initiate Creation: Select the correct company name and click the green + Create New Panel button in the top right corner.
2. Define Panel Names: You will be prompted to fill out three distinct naming fields:
* Public Panel Name: What your panelists see in their portal.
* Internal Panel Name: For your team's internal organization and tracking.
* Marketplace Panel Name: The name visible to survey buyers in the Marketplace.
* Note: These names can be different to suit your branding and administrative needs.
3. Set Panel Details: Choose the geographical and linguistic settings for your panel.
* Panel Country: The country where the panel will operate (this does not have to match your company's location).
* Panel Language: The primary language of the panel portal.
* Panel Currency: The currency in which the panel's financial data is tracked.
4. Configure Panelist Currency: This section defines how your respondents are rewarded. You have two primary options:
* Default: The system uses the standard currency selected in the "Panel Details" section.
* Custom: This allows you to create a unique Point System (e.g., "Life Points"). If you choose Custom, you must define the Currency Name, Abbreviation, and the Exchange Rate (the value of your points relative to 1 USD).
5. Finalize: Once all fields—**Name, Details, and Panelist Currency**—are complete, click Create Panel.
Create a Panel
Use this process to to create multiple independent panels within your company.
From here, a panel owner/Cint admin can create a panel and start recruiting panelists that will answer surveys coming from buyers in the Marketplace. A Cint admin will have access to all companies, but an external panel owner will only see one company.
To create a new panel:
Select the company name where you wish to create a panel.
Contact your support representative to add a new company.

Select Create New Panel button on the right side. The Create new panel page displays.
Fill out the information in the name section.

public panel name: The name visible to all panelists in the portal.
internal panel name: The name is only internally visible.
Marketplace panel name: The name visible to buyers who are providing surveys.
These names can all be different. Fill out the information in the details section.

panel country: The country the panel will be displayed. This can be outside of the country your company is located.
panel language: The language the panel will display.
panel currency: The currency the panel will display.
You can create multiple panels with different countries, languages, and currencies for your company.
Fill out the information in the panelist currency section.

Click create panel.
The panels page displays. It is divided into three sections:
Name
Details
Panelist currency
There are two choices for selecting the currency your panel:
Default: The system automatically selects the currency you selected for your panel.
Custom: Allows you to create a point system that panelists earn instead of traditional money. For example: life points.
When custom is selected, you must fill out the additional fields:
Currency name: The name of your custom currency.
Currency abbreviation: The abbreviation of the custom currency
Exchange rate: Enter what you want your currency to equal to one USD. For example, enter 500 if you want 500 points to equal one USD.
