Engage custom profiling survey integration FAQ

Panel owners can easily add links to external surveys and display custom buttons directly into the panelist portal. This lets you collect the extra information you need without having to host your profiling questions on the Cint Engage platform.

By collecting additional profiling data, panel owners can benefit from:

• Increased flexibility of data collection for specific, in-depth data beyond standardized profiling options.

• More accurate profiling for future survey opportunities, enhancing engagement and boosting conversions.

• Improved panelist experience as panelists can easily access external surveys from within the panelist portal.

• Richer panelist segmentation as panel owners can create more precise segments, leading to more targeted survey invitations and improved response rates.

• Streamlined data management as panelists are able to retake surveys, ensuring that panelist profiling data can be updated as needed, maintaining data accuracy and relevance for ongoing targeting.

To configure custom profiling:

1. Select the company.

2. Select the desired panel.

3. Select url in the navigation bar, and navigate to the custom profiling tab.

   From here, you can remove and update external survey URLs.

   Only add one external URL can be added per panel.

Before saving your settings, our system will validate the external URL to ensure it is functional and secure. Once configured and live, panelists will see a clearly labeled button for the external survey prominently displayed in the profiling section of their panelist portal.

To access the external survey, panelists can simply click the action button located in the profiling section of the portal.

Panelists will be redirected to the external survey in a new browser tab, ensuring their panelist_id is passed for tracking.

Yes, panelists can retake the survey at any time to update their profile answers, maintaining data consistency by using the same panelist_id.
