Closing out a study
Congratulations for successfully completing a study in the Lucid Marketplace! Once a study has finished fielding, it is important to change the status of the study to complete in order to ensure a positive respondent experience. Failure to change the status may result in a respondent being sent to a closed study resulting in a poor respondent experience.
To update the status:
Navigate to the details page.
Select complete under status.
Click save. This will officially close the study.
Before changing the survey's status from live to complete, first check:
There are zero completes remaining for suppliers to fill,
All sub quotas are filled,
The number of Marketplace completes matches the bid value, and
The end client is also willing to close the study.
If the study meets these specifications, change its status; otherwise, best practice is to instead pause the study by temporarily changing its **total remaining quota** value to zero.
Confirm completes
After fielding, confirm that the completes on the client side match the completes in the Marketplace. If the list of complete IDs supplied from the client does not match that found in the Marketplace, use the reconciliation report to adjust the Marketplace values.
More info: See reconciliation policy for more information.
Be aware that due to accounting rules, you have until the end of the following month after the ID timestamp to adjust the status of a complete. The study itself can be reconciled as often as needed, however, only IDs from the present and previous calendar month will be updated.
Best practice for trackers
The Lucid Marketplace best practice is to either close out or temporarily pause and reconcile all projects at the end of each month, regardless of study type. Reconciling the studies mid-field or by the end of the month helps keep
