What is routing?
A client is considered to have routed a respondent when they allow a panelist to complete one survey and then send them to complete a different survey.
Omnibus surveys that ask panelists about a series of subjects are not considered routing so long as they are a single questionnaire and panelists are not redirected to new surveys.
Consequences of routing
Buyers detected as routing panelists will be required to take action and may be subject to sanctions by Cint:
Customer strike # | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Mandatory buyer action | Confirm buyer will stop all routing behavior immediately. Re-sellers must provide a plan to stop routing amongst their end clients. | Same as Strike 1 AND: Explain why routing was not stopped after the previous escalation(s) | ||
Cint-imposed sanctions | None | Access to Cint’s top suppliers is removed until feedback is received | Access to Cint’s top suppliers is removed and a target group cap is imposed until feedback is received | Traffic to all target groups is paused and the ability to create projects is restricted and the buyers contract with Cint is assessed for termination |
Buyers who fail to respond to cooperate with Cint in good faith risk having sanctions escalated.
