Cint Exchange reconciliation audits FAQ

Prev Next

Cint offers a reconciliation process (reconciliation statuses report) that allows buyers to remove completes that do not meet quality standards.

These reconciliations are routinely audited to ensure the Cint Exchange health, providing more clarity into the reasons buyers are reconciling and gathering supplier insights.

Reconciliation audits

How do reconciliation audits work?

When a reconciliation is submitted, it is subject to reconciliation audits. If a reconciliation is audited, an auto-generated email will be sent to the project manager with the survey number and the RIDs that were reconciled, asking for more detail on the reason for the reconciliation. The email specifies a time-frame the form must be completed.

The additional detail is reviewed to ensure that the reasons for reconciliation are valid. Lucid reserves the right to request supporting documentation for reconciliations and may overturn any reconciliation that does not have a valid reason submitted within the specified time-frame.

What should a project manager do if they receive a reconciliation audit email?

Review the email closely. If the email provides a form, it is imperative the form is filled out with the information requested in the time frame specified. If the email is informing you of an automated action by the system, no reply is necessary.

Why does Lucid conduct reconciliation audits?

Data quality is essential to ensure the highest quality results for market researchers and businesses seeking the most relevant insights. Reconciliation audits help improve the health of the Marketplace by understanding reasons behind reconciliations. This information is shared with suppliers, who analyze this panelist feedback to ensure high quality responses. Reconciliation audits also allow Lucid to identify areas of potential security or training improvements, securing the ecosystem and ensuring it is a safe place to transact.

Consistent, excessive reconciliations may also be audited by the Lucid team. Buyers may receive an email with relevant information and the opportunity to improve their rate of reconciliation in a given time window. However, Lucid reserves the right to suspend a buyer's ability to reconcile for a time following failure to improve such rates of reconciliation.
